Let's begin our journey💫

Hi everyone! Well, let's get to know each other and begin our journey of self-discovery. My name is Sofia, I am a third-year student. And a few years ago, I paid attention to the topic of astrology, so I decided that I want to get to know it much deeper and better. And I think that you have heard about astrology many times💫

Let us commence by explaining what Astrology is.

In simple words, Astrology is the science of celestial bodies that are in eternal motion and the influence of these celestial bodies on us. I think that the astrological terms "natal/birth chart" or "zodiac signs" ring a bell to you :)

This "natal chart" is like a snapshot of the position of different planets in different "zodiac signs" at the time of your birth. Therefore, its calculation requires the date, exact time, and place of your birth. And actually, this picture can tell a lot about you🙌

An example of a natal/birth chart:

So, let's figure it out a little bit:

  • There are 10 main planets in Astrology, each planet has a certain influence in astrology and rules a certain area of life or your approach to life. These planets are Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Also, each of the planets rules a certain zodiac sign.
  • There are 12 zodiac signs. Zodiac signs are responsible for our character qualities, and our properties. These zodiac signs are as follows: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. These zodiac signs are divided into 4 elements: earth, water, fire, and air.
  • And there are 12 houses in natal astrology. These houses are responsible for a particular area of life in which changes are possible for us and a specific function of your life.

Here you can see the zodiac signs and their houses :)

I hope it was interesting for you and promise that it will be more interesting every time. You can share your thoughts in the comments😉
See you!💖

  1. Hi! I am a bit confused here :) Is the Moon a planet? I always thought it's a satellite.
Anyway, I've never regarded astrology as a thing. Now I have a chance to change my mind!
